The first Wednesday of each month is special because that's the date of the Wilmingtown Downtowner's Meet & Mingle at Front Street Brewery at 9 North Front Street from 5-6:30PM. Each month a varying crew of folks who live, work, and do business in downtown Wilmington gather for free appetizers, some beer tasting, to hang out with fellow downtowners, and to get closer on-site look at showcased businesses.
Sarah Barbee of Fussbudget Promotions promotes the WDT/M&M events on social media and elsewhere.
This month Sarah introduced me to Andrew Gray of TayloeGray.
Katie Schulist of showcased vendor Edge of Urge talking with RightLeftStudio owner and designer Brooke Foreman with Andrew looking on.
Another shot of Andrew and Sarah
Andrew and Nick Balding of Balding Brothers (Balding Brothers is a fine homes and cabinet company - nothing to do with hairpieces).
Front Street Brewery servers at the event were Meghan, Andrea, and Jamie.
Elisabeth Hix, a Melaleuca rep who just moved back to town, and Steve West of N2 Publishing.
Katie Schulist and some of Edge of Urge's wares. The store is located at 18 Market Street.
More Edge of Urge products, the dress and bikini designed by owner Jessie Williams.
OK, here's a quiz - Andrew, Brooke, Steve, Nick, and Sarah (you fill in the last names).
Misti Ford (not her real last name, yet)
Momentum Surf and Skate - notice that the sell Tom's shoes! Located at 5 N Front Street.
Hunter and Misti Ford with one of their custom-designed surfboards. Oh, and after they get married in a few weeks Misti's last name really will be Hunt so why confuse the issue now.
Brooke Foreman
Lauren Formalarie and Nolan Formalarie for Discover NC Homes with Amy Palmer of B and O Design Studio. So once again, a fine time. Thanks again Front Street Brewery.
