Furever Friends Animal Rescue - Ribbon Cutting at NBCC

On Friday we had a North Brunswick Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting at the chamber office for Furever Friends Animal Rescue.

In the photo below getting ready for the actual cutting of the ribbon are Furever Friends board members, NBCC board members, members, volunteers and staff and a couple of dogs that were okay with it but not really excited about being there. Check out Dr. Sheila Hanby, in the center of the photo, proving once again that she can easily be the most photogenic in a crowd by lighting up her smile (click to enlarge the photo to really see her expression). Sheila, the chief Vet and kennel washer at Capeside Animal Hospital, is on the board of Furever Friends and is also the Treasurer of the Board of Directors of NBCC.

Board members Jeff Harvell of Lighthouse Publishing and Cape Fear Business News and Mike Leggett of the Local News Reporter.

Pastor Jay Merritt of Victory church and Furever Friends board member Theresa Morgan.

NBCC volunteer and Ambassador Joyce Throop with Jeff Harvell and NBCC Executive Director Terry Grillo.

Terri Andress, NBCC's indefatigable and indisputably industrious person in charge of the books of accounts. She's also a dog nut and drives a very cool red Mustang convertible but we won't go there.

Okay, so this time everyone looks ready and smiling, just prior to the actual ribbon cutting which I missed for this blog post because I was laughing so hard at something Bob Baer, the official photographer said.

Also, as you can see, the dogs were about done with all this posing stuff. But once again we had a successful ribbon cutting. Welcome Furever Friends Animal Rescue, we're glad you've become part of the North Brunswick Chamber.
