Ben David Speaks to NBCC

There was a fine turnout on Tuesday when NC District #5 (Pender and New Hanover counties) District Attorney Ben David was the guest speaker at the monthly North Brunswick Chamber of Commerce speaker luncheon.

Monica Clark of Cape Fear Business Consulting Services, Caroline Pirnat of Asset Storage, and Denise Harris of SunTrust Bank.

Major Smith and Lieutenant Joe Coggins of the Brunswick County Sheriff's office speak with the District 5 D.A. This theme of cross county and cross jurisdication communication and cooperation was a major point in Atty. David's talk.

Major Smith told us about the new substation for the Sheriff's office opening in front of Brunswick Forest, right next to the Port City Java. They're looking for office furniture for their expected February move-in.

This meeting was held at Eddie Romanellis and the buffet was enjoyed by all.
