Today was the long-awaited "official" opening of the Leland Comfort Suites Hotel, right next to our office on Grandiflora Drive in Leland, NC.
The very first people I spoke with when I got to the hotel were our friends Sue Barnes and Shannon Hendrickson from Zen-sation Day Spa.
NBM Magazine's Justin Williams was one of many photographers on hand to record this notable event.
General Manager Barry Eagle, with partners Walt Smith and John Sandlin looking on, welcomed us to the hotel. We know from previous meetings that Barry's a good guy.
North Brunswick Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Terry Grillo read a letter from North Carolina Bev Purdue and then Leland Town Councilman Herbert Barnes also expressed his appreciation for Leland's first hotel.
There were lots of people on hand.
