Britt's Jewelers Ribbon Cutting

There's a new jewelry store in Leland. Britt's Jewelers, a family owned business with a store Whiteville for 30 years, just opened a store in Leland and joined the North Brunswick Chamber of Commerce. So for sure we had a ribbon-cutting. (Note, all photos in this blog post taken by Marge Brown).

Below are some silver pieces featured in Britt's "Southern Gates" Collection from the Charleston, SC area. They are patterned after the gates that you see around some of the houses in Charleston, SC. Ornamental ironwork reflected the influence of blacksmiths, through time,, forging folk art into gates, balconies and grills.
