I saw this mushroom early this morning when I was walking Pepper and it was too dark to be sure. I went back a little while ago and "Whoa!" This mushroom is 10-12 inches across. I thought at first it was a hat or a Frisbee.
Glad we're in this century because in the 60s it wouldn't have been there when I went back 5 hours later. If you know what kind of mushroom this, please let me know.
