Bob the Teacher at NBCC Luncheon

At today's North Brunswick Chamber of Commerce monthly luncheon meeting, Bob Jenkins (aka Bob The Teacher) spoke about "Using Social Media for More Profits in 2009".

NBCC Executive Director Rhonda Norris MC'd the meeting in the upstairs meeting room of Antonio's Pizza and Pasta Restaurant and welcomed the crowd of 40+ chamber members and guests.

The Reverend Terry Leigh Buckner of the Closer Walk United Methodist Church gave a blessing and we got down to the business of eating before tuning in to Bob.

Bob is an accomplished speaker who's much in demand lately as he helps people make sense of and plan the use of various social media tools to promote their businesses online.

Apparently only about one in ten of the attendee were already using social media tools, but all were very attentive during Bob's presentation.

After Bob's talk Rhonda and NBCC President Peggy O'Leary had a bunch of drawings for table poinsettias, for a lunch at Antonios, and for a variety of seasonal gifts.

There's no question when you attend one of these events in Leland that North Brunswick is full of entrepreneurial energy and excitement. This is a great time to be doing business and Leland is at the center of the hottest area in the region.
