We had a pretty laid back day today, after a week of events and parties (aka "work" - and yeah, we know, but
someone has to do it). Before getting ready for a small dinner party, we took Pepper to the Brunswick Forest Dog Park and met up with folks we didn't know live in the neighborhood: Debbie and John Elliott. We hadn't met John before but we've known Debbie for years since our daughter Liz worked for her from late 2002 till early 2004. Debbie is the President of
Talk, a Wilmington-based "branding and communications agency that helps businesses grow and navigate change. Headquartered in Wilmington, NC with a satellite office in Camden, SC."
It may or may not be coincidental that Debbie's South Carolina operation is located in Camden, because that's also her dog's name. Camden, in the photo below with a tennis ball held tight, is a mixed breed, 6-year old female with some miniature Schnauzer and no one's sure what else in her genetic background.
It's always good to re-establish acquaintanceships, so this afternoon was a big win!
