Ashton Place - Broker Luncheon October 27th

Brookside Homes' Ashton Place in Leland, North Carolina continues to package and market home and lot combinations in central Leland that appeal to first time homebuyers, but during a broker luncheon today the builder and sales folk stressed the variety of potential buyers to whom this small (fewer than 100 homes) gated community appeals, including families and active adults.

With prices from $159,500 to $189,500, Ashton Place's floor plans range from 1,252 to 1,950 heated and cooled square feet. All have two car garages. For closings before November 30th of this year the builder will also provide $4,000 in closing costs!

Sales agent Dottie Kilpatrick welcomed us to Ashton Place.

This furnished Bradley Creek model seems much larger than its 1,489 square feet.

Ashton Place is located off Old Fayetteville Road in Leland, just east of Landvale Road.

Low Country Boil at South Brook, July 16, 2009

This Thursday Stevens Fine Homes held a Low Country Boil cookout at their South Brook neighborhood located in Mallory Creek in Leland, North Carolina.

As usual at Stevens' events the food was good and the company (as in the people) were even better.

Let's start with a few words directly from Craig Stevens:

Here's a look at the buffet. Plenty of shrimp, sausage, corn, and potatoes, backed by a variety of sides and salads. Good stuff all.
The event was catered by Middle of the Island (MOI) from one of their mobile catering trucks.
Two Wendys: Wendy Hunt, ad rep and photographer for NBM Magazine and Wendy Melville, one of two on-site agents at South Brook (the other is Charlotte Palmer).

Craig Stevens, in the blue shirt, talks with customers and visitors.
This is the attractive front entry of the model where the party was held.
A longer view of the same home. At this point the party was just beginning.
Our buddy Justin Williams, owner of NBM Magazine was also on hand, with his daughter Ava Grace. Here Justin ably demonstrates his ability to juggle fatherhood and e-mail.

REALTOR event at The Tropics in Waterford of the Carolinas

This Wednesday Pointe South Realty and Waterford of the Carolinas hosted a REALTOR luncheon in the Tropics section of Waterford of the Carolinas to present some new floorplans.

The luncheon was held in The Banyan model in the Tropics section of the community.
One of several cool features of the The Banyan model home is this (optional) caged pool that overlooks one of Waterford's many canals. In the shot below on-site agent Jason James and famed Sea Coast agent Peter David discuss the community. It was a bright day and the camera auto-exposure favored the outside, (sorry for the silhouette effect of Jason and Peter).

The photo below, with Marketing Director Kace Koble at the far end of the pool, is much more pleasing.

Broker Relations Manager Angela Batchelor speaking about the new floorplans and a special event (and great deals) this weekend.

When you're looking for new homes in the Leland area, be sure to include Waterford of the Carolinas. And if you'd like, I'd be honored to show you around and represent you as a buyer at this or any of the other fine new home communities in North Brunswick County.
