Today's activity so far :
Day 36 - 168.0 pounds, 22% body fat, bp 126/86, resting pulse 66
Exercise: 30 minute Shakeology low impact and resistance workout
Intake:
- Several cups of black coffee
- 2 oz OJ with vitamins and supplements
- lots of water
- breakfast - 1 cup of Quinoa with EVO
- lunch - Shakeology chocolate with Almond soy milk, blueberries, and blackberries
- dinner - ?? not sure yet
Comment: Ok, so even though I had pizza and Coke for lunch yesterday AND two huge bowls of Marge's outtasight chicken and cheese soup with spring onions and carrots yesterday, I still dropped that pesky half pound AND my body fat went down to 22%. It was different having Shakeology for breakfast yesterday (it tastes so much like a dessert it's hard to grasp how good it is for you) rather than lunch, but I coped with it (lol). Now that I've gone 36 days without any significant snacking other than an occasional cup of yoghurt and (a couple of weeks ago) a few crackers with peanut butter, I am a bit amazed and also frankly relieved that I'm not snacking all afternoon and then finishing off each evening with a handful of cookies. That alone is a big help, for weight loss, for more even energy during the day, and I'm sleepping better; it's not will power, as far as I can tell it's clearly the Shakeology that's making the difference. So, yay!
